Terms of Service
Last updated 11 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Eatsli: the restaurant portal and point of sale at eatsli.com, restaurant ordering websites, and the driver app. By creating an account or using Eatsli, you agree to them.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 18 to create a restaurant account, and authorised to act for the business you register.
- Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account and for the team members you invite and the access you give them.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
2. Plans, trials and payment
- Plans and prices are shown on our pricing page. New restaurants may start with a free trial; we will tell you before any charge.
- Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. The new price applies from your next billing period.
3. Restaurants’ responsibilities
If you run a restaurant on Eatsli, you are responsible for:
- Your menus, prices, descriptions, allergen and dietary information, and keeping them accurate.
- Preparing and delivering orders, food safety, licences, taxes, and refunds or complaints from your customers.
- Following consumer, food and data protection law. You are responsible for your customers’ personal data; we process it for you as described in our Privacy Policy.
- The content you publish on your website, including images and text you upload.
4. Ordering from a restaurant
When you order or book through a restaurant’s website, your contract is with that restaurant, not with Eatsli. The restaurant is responsible for your food, delivery and any refund. Card payments are processed by Stripe.
5. Websites and domains
- Each restaurant gets a free address on eatsli.site. Some names are reserved and cannot be used.
- You may connect a domain you own if your plan includes it. You must prove you control it, and keep its DNS records in place while it is connected.
- We may remove or suspend a website that breaks these terms or the law.
Buying a domain through Eatsli
- Restaurant owners can buy a domain through Eatsli on any plan. The price shown is the registrar’s price plus Eatsli’s service fee, in pounds, for one year.
- The domain is registered in the name and contact details you give us. You must give accurate details; registries may suspend a domain with false details. Your details are shared with the registrar and the domain registry for this purpose.
- Once a domain is registered the payment can’t be refunded and the name can’t be changed. If registration fails, you are refunded in full automatically.
- Domains are paid yearly and renew automatically. About 14 days before a domain expires we charge the card you last paid for it with, at the renewal price shown in your portal, and renew it for another year. If that payment fails we try again every few days until the expiry date and show the problem in your portal.
- We never charge automatically if the renewal price has gone up by more than 10% since you last paid; you renew it yourself to accept the new price. You can turn auto-renew off, or renew by card yourself, at any time in your portal.
- A domain that isn’t renewed by its expiry date is removed from your website and expires; it may then be bought by someone else. Renewal payments are not refundable once the domain has been renewed.
- Eatsli manages the domain’s DNS so it works with your website. You can ask us to transfer the domain to another provider at any time; contact us at the address below.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Break the law, sell prohibited items, or publish content that is unlawful, misleading, hateful or infringes someone else’s rights.
- Try to access other accounts or restaurants’ data, test or bypass our security, or disrupt the service.
- Scrape, copy or resell Eatsli, or use it to send spam.
7. Your content and our platform
You keep ownership of the content you add, such as menus, photos and website text. You give us permission to host, display and process it so we can run the service for you. Eatsli, its software and its design remain ours.
8. Third-party services
Some features rely on other providers, such as Stripe for payments and Google for sign-in and maps. Their own terms apply to your use of their services.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Eatsli available and secure, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and we may change or improve features. We will give notice of changes that significantly affect you.
10. Suspension and closing accounts
You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, fail to pay, or put other users or the service at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, Eatsli is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Restaurants are responsible for the food and services they provide to their customers. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and tell account holders about significant changes. Continuing to use Eatsli after a change means you accept the updated terms.
